Abstract
The invention relates to a method for producing a granulated fertilizer from slag powder and contributes to an increase in the yield of a marketable product. According to the invention, the original slag is subjected to crushing, grinding, mixing the obtained powder with a mineral additive and moistening. The resulting mixture is formed into rounded granules, dried, and the latter is divided into a commercial product and recirculating powder returned to the original mixture. The recirculating powder with a fraction of 0.5–0.315 mm in an amount of 10–14%, with a fraction of 0.315-0.14 mm in an amount of 14–18%, and the rest of a fraction of 0.14 mm is introduced into the charge in a ratio of weight parts equal to 1 :( 5 - 6) to the original slag powder. The yield of marketable product increases to 86 - 88% 2 table
Description
The invention relates to ferrous metallurgy and can be used in the production of granular fertilizers from powders of ground or self-decomposing metallurgical slags.
The aim of the invention is to increase the yield of the marketable product.
Example 1. The proposed method was implemented on a pan granulator with a rotating plate diameter of 1.0 m. The prepared mixture with a total weight of 3.0 kg, consisting of the raw slag powder with a particle size of less than 0.14 mm and a recirculating load of the same material having a fractional composition, wt.%: 0.5 - 0.315 mm - 12; 0.14 - 0.315 mm - 18 and less than 0.14 mm, the rest was placed on the plate, moistened and folded, after which, in accordance with the requirements of GOST 21560.1 -82 Mineral fertilizers were determined
1.fractions 0.5–4.0 mm. Other things being equal, in the experiments carried out, the ratio of recycled powder to the original slag powder changed and the test results are given in Table 1.
As can be seen from the table. 1 data, the optimization of the granule formation process occurs when the ratio of the components of the mixture is recirculating powder — the initial slag powder is 1: (5 - 6). When granulating only the original slag powder (experiment 1), or with a small addition of return slag (experiments 2, 3), which do not contribute to the mixture a sufficient amount of granule-forming embryos fr. 0.315-0.5 mm, additional time is spent on their formation, moreover, this period is extended, and this entails the expansion of the spectrum of granule sizes in the direction of coarse fractions. In the case of a decrease in cooi

.(опыт № 6), шихта становитс перенасыщена крупными возвратными частицами шлака, вследствие чего наблюдаетс повышение выхода недоокатанного порошка.(experiment no. 6), the charge becomes supersaturated with large return slag particles, as a result of which an increase in the yield of the under-rolled powder is observed.
2,The effect of the number of nucleating fractions of two classes in the recirculating powder 0–0.5 mm on the yield of granules of the commodity fraction 0.5–4.0 with the ratio of the components of the charge 1: (5–6) is presented in Table 2,
As can be seen from the presented data, the proposed amounts of nucleation fractions in the recirculating powder allows an increase in the yield of the product fraction.
86 - 88%.Thus, the proposed method of obtaining granulated fertilizer from slag powder allows increasing the yield of the marketable product from 62% to 86 - 88%.
