Целью изобретени вл етс повышение коалесцирующих и сорбционных свойств фильтрующего материала Это достигаетс тем, что в качестве коалесцирующего материала прин ты сферические гладкие гранулы диаметром 0,8-2 мм, а частицы сорбирующего материала имеют размер 0,05-0,1 мм, причем соотношение коалесцирующего и сорбирующего материалов составл ет 50-60% и 50-40% соответственно .branches of the national economy where devices are required for separating petroleum products of the sorbing or coalescing types. The aim of the invention is to improve the coalescing and sorption properties of the filtering material. This is achieved by the fact that spherical smooth granules with a diameter of 0.8-2 mm are accepted as coalescing materials, and the particles of the sorbent material have a size of 0.05-0.1 mm, and the ratio coalescing and sorbing materials are 50-60% and 50-40%, respectively.
The invention relates to wastewater treatment and can be used in any branch of the national economy where a device is required for separating oily water.
The aim of the invention is to improve the coalescing and sorption properties of the filter material.
As a coalescing material, spherically smooth granules D 0.8–2 mm are accepted, and the particles of the sorbent material are 0.01–0.1 mm in size, with the ratio of coalescing and sorbing materials being in the range:

The coalescing filter material exhibits new properties consisting in the proper organization of the fluid hydrodynamics in the bulk of the material.
Example For filtering use glass beads D - 0.8-1.0 mm as a coalescing material.
As a sorbing material - expanded perlite D 0.05-0.1 mm.
Filtration of an oil-water emulsion of diesel fuel with an oil concentration of 200 mg / l is carried out separately through 3 columns filled with: glass beads; expanded perlite; a uniform mixture of glass beads and expanded perlite in a ratio of 60-40% by volume, a layer height of 100 mm, a filtration rate of 0.002 m / s. At the same time, water with an oil content of 50-60 mg / l is obtained at the exit of the column with glass beads. At the outlet of the sorbent column, water is obtained with an oil content of 0.5 mg / l; at the outlet of a column with a mixture of glass beads and perlite, water is obtained with an oil content of 0.5 mg / l, but at the same time the pressure drop in the perlite column 1.5-1.7 times more than in the column with the mixture. After saturation of the pore surface of the column with the mixture, the filter material of this column goes into a coalescing mode of operation, and the cleaning capacity of the column with the mixture changes throughout the whole experiment.
0The undoubted advantage of the filtering material is a reduced sorbent consumption, since glass beads are used as a coalescing material. The oil-saturated and mechanically loaded sorbent is easily removed by washing with water. After drying the glass beads, a fresh sorbent is loaded, ne
