Description
The invention relates to a pump engineering and relates to the improvement of the scoop branch of the pump.
The purpose of the invention is to increase efficiency by reducing hydraulic losses at various pump operating modes.
Figure 1 schematically shows a scoop branch of the pump, a General view; figure 2 scoop pump outlet, a longitudinal section; in Fig.Z - section aa in Fig.2; figure 4 limiter movement.
The scoop branch of the pump comprises a cowl 1 mounted for displacement relative to the outlet pipe 2 and provided with a limiter 15 for displacement in the direction of rotation of the pump casing (not shown conditionally). The outlet is equipped with a corrugated sleeve 4, through which the cowling 1 is connected to the pipe 2. The cowling 1 has 2Q walls of variable thickness (Fig. 2,3), and its profile in the longitudinal and cross sections is outlined by conjugate arcs of circles of different radii of curvature Ri, R2 (and Ri> R2). The cowling 1 is made of 25 two sections 5, 6 transverse in longitudinal and transverse sections by circular arcs, and in cross section the length of section 5, located at a shorter distance from the pump axis, is shorter than 30; s section 6, located at a greater distance from the axis of the pump.
Scoop pump outlet works as follows,
At the initial moment, until the pump casing is started to rotate, the cowl 1 is in the lower extreme position (figure 2) and rests on its section 5 about the pipeline 2. When the pump enters the operating mode, the rotational speed of the housing and the volume of liquid in it are increasing. Under the influence of a rotating fluid, the fairing 1 moves to the periphery of the housing. When the operating mode of the pump changes and the high-speed Nepor 45 drops, the cowl 1 is lowered.
Thus, thanks to the movable connection of the discharge pipe 2 to the cowl 1, the latter, as it were, monitors all changes in the regime of fluid flow 5, and its inlet is always directed towards the fluid flow lines, ensuring maximum fluid intake over the entire cycle of the pump. The complex shape of the profile of the fairing 1 10 reduces drag when flowing around the fluid and reduces hydraulic losses. The described improvements contribute to increasing the efficiency of the pump.
