Abstract
The purpose of the invention is to increase the reliability and design improvement by automatically adjusting the tension of the flexible coupling depending on the transmitted payload and using elastic spokes in the form of flat springs with nonlinear stiffness. The rotation from the hub 2 to the rim 1 is transmitted by means of elastic spokes 3, which are in the stretched state. With an increase in the transmitted payload, the spokes are additionally stretched, and the deformation of the extension of the spokes located on the side of the pulley not covered by the flexible link is greater than the deformation of the extension of the spokes located on the side of the pulley, covered by the flexible link. Due to the fact that the spokes have variable and progressively increasing rigidity, the centering of the rim with respect to the hub occurs, i.e. the rim eccentricity is reduced and an additional flexible communication support occurs. 2 Il. Description
The invention relates to mechanical engineering, in particular to the drives of machines with flexible coupling, and can be used in transmissions operating with a variable loading mode.
The purpose of the invention is to increase reliability and simplify the design by automatically adjusting the tension of the flexible connection depending on the transmitted payload and the use of elastic spokes in the form of flat springs with non-linear stiffness.
1.In FIG. 1 shows a pulley of a self-tensioning transmission flexible connection, General view; in FIG. 2 — section A — A in FIG. 1.
The flexible tension pulley contains a rim 1, a hub 2 located inside the rim and pivotally connected with its ends to the rim 1 and hub 2 by radially spaced elastic spokes 3 made in the form of a spring, bilaterally symmetrically bent in the radial direction, having a variable and progressively increasing stiffness.
When the flexible connection is removed from the pulley, the rim 1 is concentric with respect to the hub 2. and the spokes 3 are located radially, since they all have the same preliminary tensile deformation provided during assembly of the pulley. The installation of a flexible coupling on the pulley leads to a radial displacement of the rim with respect to the hub.
The pulley operates as follows.
The rotation from the hub 2 to the rim 1 is transmitted by means of elastic spokes 3, which are in a stretched state. With an increase in the transmitted payload, an angular displacement of the hub with respect to the rim occurs. In this case, the spokes additionally stretch, and the tensile strain of the spokes located on the pulley side not covered by a flexible connection is greater than the tensile strain of the spokes located on the pulley side covered by a flexible connection. Due to the fact that the spokes 10 have a variable and progressively increasing stiffness during tensile deformation, the phenomenon of centering of the rim with respect to the hub occurs, i.e. the eccentricity of the rim decreases. Consequently, an additional tightening of the flexible connection takes place. Since the angular displacement of the hub with respect to the rim is the greater, the greater the transferred payload, the eccentricity of the rim accordingly decreases to a greater extent, and the flexible coupling tension 20 corresponds to the transferred payload.
