Description
The invention relates to medical equipment, in particular to devices for treating infected wounds in a controlled air temperature, humidity and purity.
The aim of the invention is to monitor the process of heat and moisture treatment of wounds.
Figure 1 shows a device for the treatment of infected wounds mounted on the limbs of a patient; figure 2 is the same, a top view.
15.A device for treating infected wounds contains a rigid transparent cylindrical insulator 1 with input 2 and output 3 pipes, to which a hose 4 for supplying an abacterial medium with a block 5 of heat and humidity parameters sensors was connected and ng 6 was used to discharge the medium from the insulator with an integrated block of 7 sensors of heat and humidity parameters of the environment . Blocks 5 and 7 are connected by lines 8 of communication with the measuring! block / 9. On the external parameters of the insulator 1 there is a sealing element consisting of hollow bundles 10 with nipples 11 made of foam pads 12. A removable porthole 13 with a sealant 14 is placed above the pipes 2 and 3. The pipes 2 and 3 are also provided with plugs 15.
The device operates as follows.
The insulator 1 is put on the affected part of the limb of the body, with the help of an external source of increased air pressure, a hollow bundle 10 is inflated through the nipple 11, which is pressed by the foam pad 12 to healthy areas of the body, creating a closed volume inside the insulator 1. A hose 4 is connected to the pipe 2 for supply of a regulated abacterial medium inside the insulator 1. Washing the surface of the infected wound, adjustable in temperature and humidity. “Thermal environment promotes an effective healing process. After this , the medium through the pipe 3 and the hose 6 is discharged outside the internal volume of the insulator 1 and the treatment chamber. The moisture and humidity parameters of the abacterial medium at the inlet and outlet of the insulator 1 are controlled using blocks 5 and 7, which are integrated in the hoses 4 and 6 and connected to the measuring block 9 via communication lines 8. Monitoring the wound healing process is carried out through the porthole 13 with the suppressor 14. If during treatment there is a need to conduct additional treatment of the wound, the transparent part of the porthole 13, which is removable, is removed and access to the wound is provided, after processing which the porthole 13 is reinstalled. The device can be portable, for which hoses 4 and 6 are disconnected from the nozzles 2 and 3, and the nozzles are closed with plugs 15. A patient with such a device can take walks if his state of health allows, In addition, to improve the quality of the wound treatment with an abacterial environment, the hose 4 for supply and a hose 6 for dumping the abacterial medium can alternately be connected to input 2, then output 3 pipes.
Thus, the design of a device for treating infected wounds makes it possible to effectively treat infected wounds at various stages of their treatment with a controlled abacterial medium. The flow rate of the medium through the insulator due to the small internal volume is smaller, which helps to reduce energy consumption, the device insulator can be worn on the patient’s body if necessary, while disconnecting it from the supply and discharge hoses. The use of a hose to discharge the medium into the general ventilation system does not contaminate the treatment room with microorganisms and does not alter the heat and humidity parameters of the air, which also helps to increase the effectiveness of treatment,
