Abstract
This invention relates to geophysics. The aim of the invention is to increase the efficiency of the method for studying geodynamic processes in the earth's crust. The goal is achieved by measuring the electrotelluric field to study geodynamic processes in the earth's crust when the electrodes are buried, drilled in the rock of a well extending below the upper limit of the water-bearing layer, submerging one electrode to the bottom of the well and filling it to water bearing layer where the second electrode is located.
Description
The invention relates to geophysics and can be used to study the geodynamic processes of the earth's crust.
The aim of the invention is to increase efficiency.
The essence of the proposed method is as follows.
Diffusion of the pore fluid is accompanied by the appearance of an electrokinetic current, which leads to the appearance of a potential electric field, Diss). The fusion fluid of the pore fluid may be a consequence of changes in the volumetric deformation of the earth's crust accompanying the geodinatic processes. This is due to changes in rock porosity and, as
Ненулевое поле будет только в случае, если измерительные электроды или один из них расположить ниже уровн грунтовых вод.the result is an overpressure of the pore fluid. A non-zero field will be only if the measuring electrodes, or one of them, is located below the groundwater level.
The method of studying geodynamic processes in the earth's crust is implemented as follows.
На дно скважины погружают один электрод и засыпают ее до уровн водонесущего сло , где располагают второй электРОД .In the rock, a well is drilled, extending below the level of the upper boundary of the water-non-flowing layer. At the bottom of the well, one electrode is immersed and it is poured to the level of the water-bearing layer where the second electrode is located.

In order to detect short-term (minute-hour-day) changes in the stress-deformed state of the earth's crust in this way, it is advisable to set the electrodes at a distance R 1 - Hom; those. the well is drilled to a depth of the order of 1 to 10 m. Such dimensions are chosen from the following considerations. On the one hand, it is desirable to make R as small as possible, since the magnitude of the interference is proportional to R. With R 10, there is practically no interference. On the other hand, the lifetime of the burst field is determined by R and the diffusion coefficient of the fluid. For very small R, one can overlook the effect. For real values of the diffusion coefficient, it is advisable to take R 5; i m in
In this case, you can fix the effect with 61 5 1 min.
