Description
This invention relates to metallurgy, in particular to a heat-resistant iron-based alloy for heating elements of high-temperature industrial furnaces operating in oxidizing environments.
The purpose of the invention is to increase the heat resistance and stability of operation at 1400 ° C.
The metal melted in an induction furnace and passed the usual redistribution, including forging ingots per bar in the temperature range of 1180-950 ° C, was used for testing.
The rods from which the test specimens were made were austenized at 1180QC for 40 minutes, followed by air cooling.
The heat resistance of the alloy was determined in accordance with the standard method for the weight loss of the samples at YOOO ° C.
The table shows the compositions and properties of the proposed and known alloys.
The use of the proposed alloy for industrial furnace heaters allows them to increase their resistance at a heating temperature by a factor of 1.5.
