This invention relates to the biological treatment of wastewater. The purpose of the invention is to increase efficiency. It is recommended to place biologically active elements in the septic tanks that promote flocculation of swollen sludge. The settled floccules are collected and fed into aerotanks. If necessary, residual swollen sludge is re-precipitated in septic tanks, the use of which in aerotanks increases the degree of purification of wastewater from contamination.
Description
This invention relates to the biological treatment of wastewater.
The purpose of the invention is to increase efficiency.
The method is carried out as follows.
The swollen sludge, which has an extremely well-developed surface, has a very high cleaning capacity compared to conventional sludge.
Поэтому большие потенциальные возможности повышенной очистительной способности вспухшего ила в насто щее врем не используютс .However, normal operation of sewage sludge treatment plants is impossible due to the lack of satisfactory technical solutions for separating the swollen sludge from water. Therefore, the large potential of the enhanced cleaning capacity of the swollen sludge is not currently used.
Delayed swollen sludge can be carried out using biologically active elements. It has been established that if they are placed not in aerotanks, but in settling basins, the swollen sludge settled in the form of floccules can then be used in aerotanks.
To use the positive properties of the swollen sludge in the new method, biologically active elements are introduced into the sludge mixture in the sludge mixture and by contact with their surface, the swollen activated sludge floats, which, as it accumulates under its own weight, settles, which allows its high oxidizing ability, thereby increasing the productivity of sewage treatment plants.
Example 1. A mixture of purified water and swollen sludge from aerotanks is fed to the first stage of flocculation and sedimentation. As a result of movement (sludge mixture or biologically active elements), swollen sludge comes into contact with the surface of biologically active elements, which represent the carrier surface covered with a biological film.
Active sludge and biological films have insignificant but unlike charges. At the point of contact

Поэтому неразделенную иловую смесь подают на вторую ступень, где флокул цию и отстаивание производ т аналогично.the swollen strands of activated sludge acquire the charge of a biological film and begin to flocculate on themselves the adjacent strands of bacteria. As a result, flocculation decreases them. the contact surface and their bulk density increases. Therefore, floccules in the form of loose cotton settle. Bacteria that do not have long filaments that are present in the composition of the swollen sludge remain suspended in the suspended state due to the small charge of the floccules. Therefore, the undivided sludge mixture is fed to the second stage, where flocculation and settling are carried out in the same way.
Biologically active elements are formed by building up a biological film on the carrier surface of the elements by circulating in a closed volume a mixture of purified water and oxygen of the air.
Testing a new method on a prototype of a sewage treatment plant showed an increase in productivity as compared with standard technology from 2 to 8 thousand m / day, i.e. 4 times. The economy of energy resources for air supply and pumping of sludge, reduced unit operating costs and the number of service personnel per unit of output, it is possible to qualitatively purify highly concentrated wastewater having a BOD5 (biological oxygen demand in a daily sample in milligrams per 1 l) - more than 1000 mg / l, and for wastewater contaminated with BOD-5 up to 500 mg / l, to obtain cleaning quality after the second stage, which meets the requirements of additional treatment.
Example2. Based on the new method, the reconstruction of wastewater treatment plants is recommended without permitting production areas. At the same time, part of two-time sedimentation tanks

В остальных двухъ русных отстойниках монтируют биологически активные элементы, работающие в пр моточном и противоточном гидравлических режимах.equip to high-pressure aerotanks with ejection aeration from horizontal pumps of the FG 216/24 brand. Such a re-equipment allows to intensify the process of air oxygen dissolution in water due to the use of a cavitation effect, which ensures the carrying out of oxidation processes in the nitrogen tanks at the enzyme level. In the remaining two-trench sedimentation tanks, biologically active elements are used that operate in direct-flow and counter-current hydraulic modes.
The installation of biologically active elements allows the separation of activated sludge, resulting in an increase in the cleaning capacity of the treatment plant.
The reconstruction of the sewage treatment plant allowed to increase their throughput purification and oxidizing capacity, as a result of which their productivity increased to 6 thousand m of treated wastewater per day, while their productivity, before reconstruction, was 2 thousand m per day.
