Description
The invention relates to powder metallurgy, in particular, to a method for processing slurry waste alloyed steels.
The purpose of the invention is to increase the density of the granular material and simplify the process.
The method is carried out as follows.
Slurry wastes of alloyed steels are dried, mixed with 1.8-3.4 wt.% Carbon-containing substance (coke / oil, pitch, graphite, soot, etc.) and sintered in the state of free filling at 1310-1370 ° C. for 25-45 minutes in a reducing atmosphere. When the content in the slurry waste abrasive more than -10% after drying it is subjected to electromagnetic separation. Carbon-containing substances are introduced into the sludge waste to reduce the temperature of formation of the liquid phase in the volume of the material being sintered, and, consequently, its melting. Increasing the amount of carbon in the material leads to a decrease in the melting point, which reaches a minimum value of
при содержании углерода в количестве 1,8-3,8%, соответствующего образованию эвтектики в легированных стал х.when the carbon content in the amount of 1.8-3.8%, corresponding to the formation of eutectic in alloyed steel x.
The use of reducing atmosphere during sintering not only prevents oxidation and fading of alloying elements, but also restores the existing metal oxides, activates physicochemical processes, which accelerates the sintering process and improves the quality of the material. Hydrogen, dissociated ammonia, endogas and others
При спекании с расплавлением материала , содержащего до 10% примесей в виде абразивных частиц, происходит самоочищение металла от примесей, выражающеес в том, что абразивные частицы, имеющие значительно более низкую по сравнению с металлом плотность, перемещаютс к поверхности расплавленного металла, образу после его затвердевани поверхностную корку , котора легко удал етс .During sintering with the melting of the material containing up to 10% of impurities in the form of abrasive particles, the metal is self-cleaning from impurities, which is expressed in that the abrasive particles, having a much lower density than the metal, move to the surface of the molten metal, forming after its solidification peel that is easily removed.
В результате такой самоочистки упроща gThe amount of impurities remaining in the material after sintering does not exceed 2.8%. As a result of this self-cleaning, simplifying g

It is a recycling technology, since there is no need for magnetic separation. In the case of processing waste containing more than 10% of impurities, after drying, magnetic separation is carried out so that the residual content of impurities in the waste does not exceed 10%, which simplifies the process of magnetic separation, and hence the technology of waste processing.
The proposed method allows to obtain high-density lumpy material with a cast structure and to simplify the technology of waste processing.
Example 1. Sludge waste from high-speed steel P6M5 weighing 10 kg and containing up to 10% abrasive particles formed during the manufacture by grinding the cutting tool is dried at 130 ° C for 2 hours in an electric resistance furnace. The dried product is mixed with a carbon-containing substance - graphite brand GK-1 in the amount of 1.8%, which provided the total carbon content in the material 2.6% (the carbon content in the waste steel R6M5 - 0.8%). Mixing is carried out in a double cone mixer for 40 minutes. The resulting mixture is sintered at 1340 ° C for 35 minutes in a continuous electric kiln of STN-2.5 type in a dissociated ammonia atmosphere.
The sintered lump material had a cast structure with an average density of 7.1 g / cm and was used as a remelting charge to produce steel P6M5. Melting was carried out in an induction furnace.
22%.The increase in yield in comparison with the known method was 22%.
The table presents the comparative data obtained by the proposed and known methods.

1.Example 2. Recycled sludge waste steel R6M5, containing abrasive particles in the amount of 25-30%. In contrast to Example 1, the dried sludge is subjected to magnetic separation on an EMC-1 electromagnetic separator with a powder feed rate of 5 mm / s. The residual content of the abrasive particles after separation was about 4-5%. All subsequent processing was performed according to the modes given in Example 1.
The results obtained corresponded to the data given in the table.
Thus, the application of the proposed method provides a simplification of the method, an increase in the density of the sintered material, which increases the yield of the material during remelting.
