Abstract
The invention relates to biotechnology, in particular plant breeding and plant genetics, and can be used in agriculture. The aim of the invention is to increase the yield of propagated plant material, reducing labor costs and costs. The method consists in that potato plants grown by IN VITRO are grafted and transferred to a nutrient medium containing a pyridazinone herbicide, and then after the induction of the shoots, the resulting shrub is rooted on the same nutrient medium that does not contain a herbicide. The method allows to increase the yield of propagated plant material by 10 or more times compared to the known ones, as well as to reduce the costs of labor and funds, since there is no need for a large amount of nutrient medium, regular cuttings and transplants of plants.
Description
The invention relates to biotechnology, in particular, plant breeding and genetics, j, and can be used in agriculture.
The aim of the invention is to increase the yield of propagated plant material.
According to the proposed method, in vitro grown potato plants are grafted and transferred to a nutrient medium containing a pyridazinone herbicide, such as norfluraone or metfpurazone, and then after the induction of shoots, the resulting shrub is rooted on the same nutrient medium not containing the herbicide.
Usually, the use of pyridazinone herbicides leads to the fact that they interfere with the biosynthesis of carotenoids, and this leads to the photo-burning of chlorophyll, as a result of which the photosynthetic activity ceases and the plant dies.
д. In this method, the named herbicides are used for another purpose: to remove the apical dominance and, consequently, unbalance the growth of the plant, which leads to the induction of numerous etiolated buds, and of them shoots, appearing on the principle of formation of the first, second, third, etc. since then.
Thus, after 6-8 weeks of cultivation, a shrub forms, the number of etiolated shoots reaches 200 or more, and when using 5 micrografts.
