The invention relates to medicine, namely to orthopedic dentistry, and can be used to treat patients with partial loss of chewing teeth in the presence of periodontal disease or susceptibility to them.
Целью изобретени вл етс предупреждение травмировани маргинальной десны в области опорных зубов и обеспечение возможности гигиенической и медикаментозной обработки зубодесневых карманов и тканей альвеол рного гребн .The aim of the invention is to prevent trauma to the marginal gums in the region of the abutment teeth and to ensure the hygienic and medical treatment of the periodontal pockets and alveolar crest tissues.
FIG. Figures 1 and 2 depict a non-removable bridge-like prosthesis; in fig. 3 and 4 - fixed part of the prosthesis; in fig. 5 and 6 - removable part of the prosthesis.
The fixed bridge consists of supporting crowns 1 and 2 and an integral intermediate part 3, which is made in the form of fixed 4 and removable 5 parts, and in the non-removable part 4 there are at least two grooves 6 of trapezoidal shape, each of which has a narrowing in the direction from occlusal surface to the alveolar rim. In the removable part 5, the projections 7 are made congruently to the grooves 6, and its lower part has a saddle support that is 0.1-0.2 mm from the crest of the alveolar process.
Fixed bridges are made as follows.
First, the support crowns 1 and 2 are made, after fitting which the fixed part 4 of the intermediate part 3 is modeled, the slots 6 of a trapezoidal shape tapering from the masticatory surface to the alveolar edge are formed from the palmar (palatine) side. Then the modeled fixed part 4 is cast with supporting crowns 1 and 2, processed, polished. After that, the C-part 5 with the protrusions 7, which enter the grooves 6 of the non-removable part 4, is expressed, expressed by the equator in accordance with the anatomical shape of the lost teeth, cast, processed and polished.
To prevent injury to the mucous membrane, the alveolar part of the body of the prosthesis has a saddle shape and is 0.1-0.2 mm from the mucous membrane of the alveolar process.

Fixed bridges are made with a partial absence of chewing teeth in patients with periodontal diseases, when there are indications for the manufacture of fixed dentures.
During the course of medical treatment in the course of complex treatment of periodontal diseases by a dentist 6 by the patient's hygienic treatment by the patients themselves, the removable part 5 of the prosthesis is removed from the oral cavity by vertical extension upward on the lower jaw and downward on the upper jaw. After completion of the drug treatment, the removable part is set in place so that the projections 7 enter the grooves 6 of the non-removable part 4 of the prosthesis body.
Thus, the design of the fixed bridge allows the restoration of the anatomical shape of the lost teeth and prevents trauma to the marginal gums in the region of the supporting teeth due to slippage of the food lump through the body of the bridge and avoiding contact with the marginal gingiva, as well as providing hygienic and medical treatment of alveolar tissue process in the area of the abutment teeth of the bridge.
