Abstract

The nasal mask relates to medical technology, namely to devices for functional diagnostics in polarography and is used in dentistry. The aim of the invention is to improve the accuracy of polarographic measurements of the oxygenation of the affected maxillofacial region by preventing the patient’s facial tissue from being compressed. The nasal mask consists of a frame 1, a gas tube 2, a collar 3 for the head, a clamp 4 for the gas tube, a check valve and a recess for the ears. The invention allows the patient, due to a loose fit to the face and the presence of a gap before carrying out the oxygen load, to breathe free air with atmospheric air and does not squeeze the soft tissues of the face. At the same time, needle electrodes can be freely inserted into the soft tissues of the face and mouth. 3 il.
