Abstract

The invention relates to agriculture and can be used for pre-sowing treatment of seeds of wheat, rye, barley and other cultivated plants immediately before sowing. The aim of the invention is to increase the germination energy and germination of seeds. Seeds are placed in a sealed chamber, vacuum, then the gas-air mixture of ammonia at a concentration of 10-40 mg / l in air is fed. Seasoning time is 10–18 minutes. After that, the vacuum is dropped, and the seeds are ventilated to remove ammonia from the surface. Experiments have shown that such treatment increases the germination rate to 91-95%, and the germination energy increases twice. 1 tab.

Description

The invention relates to agriculture and can be used for pre-sowing treatment of seeds of wheat, rye, barley and other cultivated plants immediately before sowing.

The purpose of the invention is to increase the germination energy and germination of seeds when preparing them for sowing.

Example. The seeds of cereal crops prepared for sowing are placed in an airtight container, the container is evacuated, then the pressure is increased by supplying gaseous ammonia, an ammonia-air mixture is created with an ammonia concentration of 10–40 mg / l and the seeds are kept in the obtained ammonia-air medium 10 -18 min. After exposure, the container is depressurized, the seeds are unloaded from the container and freed from free ammonia by blowing air through the seeds.

The table shows the data processing seeds by the proposed method.

The increase in the germination energy and the awakening of a part of the seeds, the ability to germinate in them, can be explained by the formation of biogenic amines in the embryos of sm., Which are adequate for 1 weediness of seeds and are produced by ammonia.
