Description

Method of producing tetrapalin hydroperoxide

20%.A method of producing tetralin hydroneoxide is known by oxidation of the latter with oxygen in the presence of initiators. However, the product yield is insignificant - about 20%.

35-40%.The proposed method is characterized in that manganese resins are used as the initiator. This allows increasing the yield of tetralin hydroperoxide to 35-40%.

In the implementation of the method, autooxide of tetralin is subjected to molecular oxygen at 68-70 ° C in the presence of manganese resins.

40%.at 25 mm Hg. v .; pb 1.5430; d4 0.9707) and manganese resins (0.2% by weight of tetralin), with half of the calculated manganese resins being loaded first. The mixture is heated to 68-70 ° C, after which the stirrer is turned on and the previously purified and dried oxygen is started to pass. After b, 12 and 18 hours, the remaining manganese resinate is added to the reactor in equal portions. The yield of tetraline hydroperoxide is about 40%.
