Abstract

FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: angular accelerometer has ring tube 2 in the form of toroid or spiral with joined ends filled with working fluid 1 in which capacity liquid ferromagnetic is used. Information pick-off unit is manufactured in the form of power winding 4 linked to current source 5 and two measurement windings 6 and 7 connected to differential amplifier 8. In presence of measured angular acceleration oscillations of density of ferromagnetic fluid 1 occur as well as change of its magnetization causing generation of counterphase emf in measurement windings 6 and 7 measured by differential information pick-off unit. Use of liquid ferromagnetic in the capacity of inertial mass in accelerometer makes it possible to integrate functions of sensitive element of accelerometer and sensitive element of information puck-off unit which simplified design of angular accelerometer.
