Description
The invention relates to heat treatment of steel with concentrated energy sources and can be used in mechanical engineering in the manufacture of tools.
зоны и увеличени глубины упрочненного сло .The purpose of the invention is to improve the quality of products by reducing the variation of hardness across the width of the hardened zone and increasing the depth of the hardened layer.
The essence of the method is that the preliminary heat treatment of the product is carried out by a defocused or scanning laser beam with a power of 2 to 5 p & s below the focused beam during subsequent laser hardening, which reduces
разброс свойств поверхностного сло , повьш1а тем самым качество издели .scattering of the properties of the surface layer, thus increasing the quality of the product.
При уменьшении мощности лазерного излучени ниже 0,2 от мощности излучени при последующей лазерной закалке повьш1аетс разброс значений твердости по пшрине лазерной дорожки, а также снижаетс глубина закаленного сло .When the laser radiation power decreases below 0.2 from the radiation power during subsequent laser quenching, the scatter of hardness values increases over the length of the laser strip, and the depth of the hardened layer also decreases.
Глубина закаленного сло также снижаетс .With an increase in the laser radiation power above 0.5 of the radiation power during the subsequent laser quenching, the scatter of hardness values across the width of the laser track becomes even more significant. The depth of the hardened layer is also reduced.

The method is carried out as follows.
The product is preliminarily heat treated with a laser beam and then laser hardened. At the same time, the power of the laser beam during pretreatment is 2–5 times that of the power of the beam during laser hardening.
Strengthen according to the proposed method, samples of steel 40X, 45, V7, V8, V9, VU.i and 5HNM; In order to reduce the power of the laser radiation during the preliminary heat treatment of the samples, the speed of the laser beam or the degree of its defocusing increase.
The table shows the results of the study of the effect of the preliminary heat treatment on the hardness value of specimens made of steel 45 and its spread across the width of the beam path, to the depth of the laminated layer, as well as the values of the hardness of specimens from the same steel and the depth of the hardened layer during thermal hardening, carried out according to a known method: improved laser hardening.
The feature and advantage of thermal hardening by the proposed method in comparison with limestone is a high degree of uniformity of hardness values across the width of the laser track and a greater depth (0.7-0.8) of the hardened layer. This is due to the fact that the laser hardening is carried out without beam overlap, due to which there are no areas

Работа без перекрыти позвол ет повысить производительност обработки- изделий.with reduced hardness due to high tempering with double laser exposure. Work without overlap allows you to increase the productivity of processing products.
An additional effect when using the proposed thermal hardening method is the absence of metal oxidation due to furnace treatment and the absence of the need to perform additional mechanical treatment of products before laser hardening.
