Description

The proposed device, by representing the development of the previous application (patent no. 2461), is intended to kill rats and mice with an electric current that is switched on by the animal itself. Electric current is supplied by an ordinary plug. While the mouse or rat attracted by the lure climbs the inclined metal plate, the plate and with it the contact rod under the animal weight easily bend down and come into contact with the other contact, due to which current is obtained. This current, with a voltage of 110-120 volts, enters the primary winding of a transformer-electromagnet, so that an induced current occurs in the secondary winding
