Изобретение относитс к области гидротехнического строительства. Цель изобретени - снижение расходов пресной воды при сохранении высокой несущей способности лед ной платформы. Согласно способу нижний слой платформы образуют из пресного армированного льда путем подачи под слой льда из соленой морской воды смеси пресной воды с коротковолнистым армирующим материалом. Верхний слой платформы образуют намораживанием пресного льда.
