Abstract
FIELD: non-ferrous metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: part of inner charge materials, for example, nickel or cobalt, is remelted in the air , then decarbonizing refining of the melt and introduction of active alloying elements are carried out. Preliminary remelting of inert charge materials allows the melt to be saturated with oxygen, which at subsequent refining in vacuum facilitates a deeper decarbonizing due to interaction of carbon with oxygen. EFFECT: enhanced high-temperature strength of alloys due to reduction of carbon concentration in them. 2 tbl
