Abstract

FIELD: control-and-measuring equipment, particularly instruments designed for determining granulometric composition of aerosols, for environmental protection, microbiological industry and agriculture. SUBSTANCE: stream of aerosol is delivered into a device where it is divided into two flows containing particles of different fractions. Coarser particles with an aerodynamic diameter larger than the threshold diameter flow into a receiving tube whose initial portion is made of a porous air-permeable material admitting the filtering air which forms a radial flow preventing settling of particles in this portion. EFFECT: higher operating efficiency of device achieved by reduction of particle losses therein. 1 dwg
