FIELD: chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: crystallizer has separator 1, circulating pump 3, descending pipe 4 and pressure pipe 5 which form circulating system, vessel 6 with conical bottom 11. Vessel 6 is communicated by means of pipeline 7 with descending pipe 4 and by means of pipeline 12, with pressure pipe 5. Suspension in crystallizer moves through circulation system. From pressure pipe 5, part of circulating suspension through pipeline 15 is supplied to conical bottom 11 of vessel 6 where suspension which comes through pipeline 7 from descending pipe 4 is thickened. Clarified solution flows through free end 14 of pipe 13 and is discharged from vessel 6 through pipe union 9. EFFECT: provision of stable concentration of solid phase in circulating suspension, increased duration of the period between the required washing and higher reliability of apparatus; prevention of incrustation of internal surfaces of crystallizer and increased sizes of crystals. 2 dwg
