The device works as follows.
When the power is turned on, the oscillator 1 of the harmonic electric signal starts operating in the self-oscillating mode. When switched on at some time t, switch 2 to one of the inputs of amplifier 3 begins to receive a harmonic electric signal U, (t) of frequency fj, from the output of generator 1, which is converted by amplifier 3 and radiating electro-acoustic transducer 4 into acoustic waves

U(t). The distance between the receiving-emitting module (elements 4 and 5) and the reference reflector is chosen to be equal. As a result, the reflected signal, at time t1, reaches the sensitive surface of the acoustoelectric receiver 5 and converted last into the measuring signal U-2. In the circuit formed by the amplifier 3, the electroacoustic transmitter 4 and the acoustoelectric receiver 5 and closed in the acoustic path through the reference reflector, the self-oscillatory process begins. This process is due to the fact that the circuit is covered by positive feedback from the output to the input (the condition of phase balance is ensured), and the fact that the feedback value using amplifier 3 is sufficient to maintain the voltage and current variations in the circuit, characteristic of this scheme for an arbitrarily long time (the amplitude balance condition is satisfied). Дл получени дискретности отсчета в 0,1 мм при работе измерител координат в режиме однонаправленного излучени частоту 340 кГц необходимо увеличить в 10 раз а при работе в режиме эхолокации - в 5 раз.the length of the acoustic signal is not always possible to choose such that the measuring signal U (t) with frequency „provides the specified sampling resolution when measuring the coordinates, the device provides for multiplication of frequency fp, n times with the help of multiplier 6, the output of which forms the sequence Uj (t ) counting pulses. So, when using air as a sound-conducting medium, due to the large attenuation of high-frequency ultrasonic oscillations, when radiating distances of 0.5–1.0 m, it is impractical to emit a frequency higher than 340 kHz. The length of the acoustic wave mm. To obtain a sampling resolution of 0.1 mm, when the coordinate meter is used in the unidirectional radiation mode, the frequency of 340 kHz must be increased by 10 times, and when operating in the echolocation mode, by 5 times.
нала, а ширина полосы пропускани должна отвечать требованию, указанному выше.and the bandwidth must meet the requirement specified above.
