Description
The invention relates to a pump construction, more specifically to means for reducing the wear of centrifugal pumps when pumping liquids containing abrasive materials.
The purpose of the invention is to increase durability by reducing the abrasive wear of seals.
Fig. 6 1 shows the pump, a pro-Idel section; Fig 2 - a widening camera, a longitudinal section.
The centrifugal pump contains a box: a start 1 in which an impeller 2 mounted on shaft 3 is located, a dynamic seal 4, a shaft 3 placed on the suction side and adjacent to the chamber 5 of the mechanical seal, and a suction nozzle 6 o The chamber 5 of the mechanical seal - Nena with the suction inlet 6 by means of a pipe 7 having; convection 8 (FIG 2), bent towards a fluid moving in the intake nozzle 6
A vertical expansion chamber 9 is installed on the pipeline 7; the irrigation pipe 10 and the locking element 1 1 are installed; the expansion chamber 9 can be equipped with diffuser 12 and confused 13 sections.
The drainage pipe 10 may be in communication with a low pressure pipeline (not shown).
The pump works as follows
кости через камеры 5 не прекращаетс .When the shaft 3 of the pump rotates, the wheel 2 pumps the liquid. A part of the liquid passing through the suction side of the pump nozzle 6 through the inlet pipe of the pipeline 7 enters the digestion chamber 9, where the speed decreases to the extent that the weight of abrasive particles in the liquid exceeds the lifting force upward flow of fluid. The abrasive particles cannot rise further and remain in suspension in the area 12 of the diffuser. The liquid thus cleared of abrasive particles from the expansion chamber 9 through conduit 7 enters the mechanical seal chamber 5 and then flows through the dynamic seals 4 to the impeller 2c suction. With the pump off, the liquid flow in the chamber 9 is abraded by force. the tin through the inlet end 8 falls out into the aspirations of the pipe 6 of the unions. Removal of abrasive particles accumulated in the chamber 9 during prolonged operation of the pump can be performed periodically without stopping pump, short-term opening of the closure element tlо In this case, the liquid under the action of the pressure difference from the chamber 5 of the mechanical seal and the suction inlet 6 of the pump through the expansion chamber 9 rushes into the low pressure pipeline The cs chamber 9 is removed to the low pressure pipeline. At the same time, the thermal mode of operation of the seals is not disturbed, since the circulation of liquid through chambers 5 does not stop.
