Abstract

FIELD: mineral-salt production, particular, methods for processing of polymineral potassium ore, applicable in production of chlorine-free potassium fertilizers. SUBSTANCE: method for processing of polymineral ores includes dissolving of polymineral potassium ore containing kainite, inderite, langbeinite, halite and others in two stages. At each stage solution is circulated so that in mixing with inlet flow the solution becomes diluted. Supplied to the first stage is ore and water. Water is mixed with circulating solution in ratio of 1:(10-30). Dissolving is conducted at temperature of 60-80 C for 1-1.5 h. Solution with ore remainder is transferred to the second stage and mixed with circulating solution of the second stage in ratio of 1: (7-25). The temperature and the time of treatment are the same as at the first stage. Separated from suspension after the second stage are solution and nonsoluble remainder. Transition of salts to solution amounts for potassium near 90 and for magnesium 80%. Losses of salts with discharge slimes are excluded, material flows are reduced by 2-3 times. EFFECT: higher degree of recovery of potassium and magnesium from the ore and simplified process.
