Description

Methods are known for producing amino acids (glutamic acid, cystine, tyrosine, phenylalanine, arginine) from keratin-containing raw materials by acid hydrolysis at elevated temperature, followed by evaporation and crystallization. However, glutamic acid, which is of great national and national importance, is obtained by known methods in very small yields.

The proposed method of producing amino acids is characterized in that waste from the milling industry is used as a keratin-containing raw material.

The method will allow to isolate 4–5% of glutamic acid from these amino acids from the raw material taken, while the release of glutamic acid from the amino acids obtained by hydrolyzing vegetable raw materials is 1.5%, and the cost of the selected products is significantly lower than the same. products obtained by known methods.

д.When performing the method, you can use the following wastes of the processing industry: horns, hooves, bristles, hair, etc.

Dry keratin wastes from the processing industry are loaded into an enameled or porcelain heated boiler and poured with hydrochloric acid in a 1: 2 ratio by weight. Hydrolysis is continued for 48 hours at boiling. The end of the hydrolysis is checked by the biuret reaction (for the absence of protein).

The hydrolyzate is filtered on a suction filter with a glass or wool filter cloth. Filtered humic substances are washed with hot water (95-98 °). The washings were combined with gilo, -) lysate and, to clarify the resulting solution, at a temperature of 95- 98 °, mixed with activated carbon per 1 liter of hydrolyzed # 140801-2 and 7 g of activated carbon: The mixture was transferred to a suction filter and filtered from coal Clarified hydrolyzate (filtrate) beats. weights of 1.14-1.16 are evaporated in a vacuum-vacuum apparatus with a condenser for 3-4 hours to a specific gravity of 1.23. The resulting fluid contains glutamic acid and other equally important amino acids, such as tyrosine, phenylalanine and arginine, as well as cystine, which cannot be obtained by processing other protein-containing proteins.

The proposed method for the preparation of amino acids is based on the use of cheap raw materials, which are in large quantities in the mills in the form of wastes.
