Abstract
FIELD: veterinary microbiology. SUBSTANCE: method involves the use of strain Chlamidia psittaci ВГИКИ "B-75" N 18 showing stable immunogenic properties, insignificant reactivity and high cytopathic action on the culture ФЭК which can be used for preparing inactivated cultural antichlamydiosis vaccine for cattle. Triple vaccination with inactivated vaccine of the strain Chlamidia psittaci ВГИКИ N 18 to heifers provides expressed immunity in newborn calves. Living mass of vaccinated calves is increased by 10% while 33% of nonvaccinated calves are sick. Vaccine shows prophylaxis postnatal complications in vaccinated animals. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of strain proposed. 2 tbl
