Abstract
The invention relates to the heat treatment of metals and can be used for hardening metal balls in metallurgy. The goal is to increase the hardness and service life of the balls. After quenching, the balls are shaken for 1-10 seconds with shock loads until the cooling medium (water) is completely removed from their surface. As a result, the consumption of heat accumulated in the ball for evaporation of water is eliminated, the temperature of the end of quenching, self-tempering decreases, the hardness and the service life of the balls increase. 1 tab.

The purpose of the invention is to increase the hardness and service life.
The balls rolled on the mill roll into a horizontal rotary hardening drum along the loading chute, which roll the balls on the inner surface of the drum and cool it with jets of quenching medium supplied at an angle to the direction of movement of the product (1, The hardened product falls from the drip drum on an inclined plane with transverse slots. Rolling along an inclined plane, the balls collide with the edges of the transverse slots, the water enveloping the surface of the balls is separated from the products and O BORN in the gap, and the balls are dehydrated inclined chute podak T with a tempering bin (autotempered).
Removing moisture from the surface of hardened products for less than 1 s is associated with significant dynamic impacts, splitting products, removing moisture for more than 10 s leads to significant heat loss, to compensate for which it is necessary to interrupt the hardening and improve temperature. self leave
Thermal treatment by the proposed method can be carried out in a quenching horn drum or other quenching device, the output side of which is equipped with a device by shaking with the application of dynamic (eg shock) loads and moving products, for example rolling rolled hardened balls on an inclined plane with transverse slot, vibratory knock out grill, etc. The energy of impact of the balls should be approximately 0.1-0.5 nm / kg mass.

Дп получени сравнительных данных параллельно провод т закалку и самоотпуск шаров без удалени с поверхности закалочной среды (воды).Grinding balls with rolling heating are fed to the quenching drum, rotated at a peripheral speed of 0.4 m / s and at an angle of 30 to the direction of movement of the balls, the nozzles supply water at a speed of 20 m / s. Hardened balls with water enveloping their surface for 4s accumulate along an inclined plane with transverse slots. As the balls roll, the balls collide with the edges of the transverse slots, the water separates from the products and is discharged into the slots, and the dehydrated balls roll down the grooves into the release hoppers. Dp of comparative data in parallel is carried out hardening and self-tempering of balls without removing the quenching medium (water) from the surface.
The experimental data are tabulated.
The proposed method of hardening shcharov provides in comparison with the known the following advantages:
удаление закалочной среды с поверхности закаленных изделий производитс наименее энергоемким механическим путем без затрат тепловой энергии;removal of the quenching medium from the surface of the hardened products is performed by the least energy-intensive mechanical means without the cost of thermal energy;
исключение попадани закалочной среды в агрегаты отпуска (самоотпуска ) ;exclusion of hardening medium in tempering aggregates (self-tempering);
снижение расходов топлива, увеличение срока службы агрегатов отпуска;reduction of fuel consumption, increase in the service life of the vacation units;
исключение затрат аккумулированного издели ми тепла на испарение с их поверхности закалочной среды, снижение температуры конца закалки и самоотпуска , увеличение твердости и глубины закаленного сло , что увеличивает эффективность термической обработки и срок службы мелющих шаров.eliminating the heat accumulated by the products to evaporate the quenching medium from their surface, decrease the temperature of the end of quenching and self-tempering, increase the hardness and depth of the hardened layer, which increases the efficiency of heat treatment and the service life of grinding balls.
