в Комитет по делам изобретений и открытий при Совете Министров СССР Опубликовано в «Бюллетене изобретений № 9 за 1961 г.to the Committee on Inventions and Discoveries at the Council of Ministers of the USSR Published in "Bulletin of inventions No. 9 for 1961

The colloidal sulfur preparation in the Soviet Union was practically not developed due to the absence of an established method.

A method is proposed for obtaining colloid sulfur from sulfur foam produced by soda-mouse cleaning of coke oven gas. The method for producing colloidal sulfur is as follows.

The sulfuric foam produced during mouse sweeping and soda gas treatment enters the septic tanks, where it is compacted. The compacted upper sulfur layer is directed by gravity into a PN-1000 centrifuge. Harmful impurities contained in the sulfur foam in a dissolved state are well washed with warm water, and then the sulfur is washed with a sulfide liquor solution to impart wettability properties to the finished product.

25%.Sulfide liquor is used in the form of a solution of a weak concentration of 2.5-3%, with a temperature of 40-50 °, which is fed in a small stream for 10-15 minutes After supplying the lye, the sulfur fugues are still about 5 minutes, after which the ready colloidal sulfur is discharged. The resulting preparation of colloidal sulfur completely satisfies TU-1616-47, and the moisture content remains in the amount of 10-20%, and the sedimentation, instead of the allowed 50%, does not exceed 25%.

Subject invention

The method of obtaining colloidal sulfur from sulfur foam from soda ash cleaning of coke oven gas, characterized in that purification from impurities, imparting wettability and dehydration of sulfur foam is carried out by double injection, for example, in a PN-1000 centrifuge, with intermediate washing first with warm water weak heated sulphidic liquor solution.
