FIELD: catalytic chemistry. SUBSTANCE: catalysts of isomerization, alkylation, and disproportionation are prepared by treatment of zeolite with ammonium salt solutions at 120-150 C and NH:Naratio (0.3-12.5):1 until reaching the sodium cation substitution degree 95-99 wt % while, for mixing with a binder, 5-50 wt % zeolite is taken. The product-binder mixture is dried and calcined. Using the catalyst in the benzene alkylation with ethylene gave rise to ethylene conversion 100% and yield of ethylbenzene 95.7%. EFFECT: increased activity and selectivity of the catalyst. 3 tbl
