The invention relates to equipment for bacteriological and helminotological studies and can be used in the selection of liquid media, in particular water.

The aim of the invention is to improve the quality of bacteriological and helminotological studies by eliminating the ingress of microbes to the environment.

The introduction of additional elements, their constructive performance allow us to create conditions that exclude the entry of microbes of the environment into the test sample, and, therefore, exclude the possibility of distorting the research results.

The drawing shows a device for the preparation of a sample of water in the collection section.

The device for preparing a water sample includes a housing 1 with a nozzle 2 and a removable plug 3, a cover 4 with an additional nozzle 5, a removable plug 6 and a sealing washer 7, a porous gasket 8 with a membrane filter, for installation of which a special socket 9 is made in the housing 1.

When preparing for sterile conditions, the housing 1 and the roof 4 are disconnected and a porous gasket 8 with a membrane filter is installed in the socket 9. Then the housing 1 and the lid 4 are screwed in, and the connections 2 and 5 are closed with plugs 3 and 6, respectively. The assembled device is transported to the place of sampling. To take a sample, the plug 6 is removed and the device is screwed into the drain pipe by means of a pipe 5.

Then, the test water is passed through the device, at this, tightness is ensured by a sealing washer 7, and the amount of water passed through the device is measured by a measuring vessel. After passing a standard amount of water through the device, the measuring vessel is disconnected and the nipple 2 is closed with a plug 3. In addition to the research quality, the proposed device greatly simplifies the procedure for sampling and examining water samples, since it eliminates the need to transport the sample to the laboratory and the need for large quantities of special measuring utensils.
