The aim of the invention is to increase reliability.
FIG. 1 shows a portion of a centre lamp in the cathode placement area; in fig. 2 — node 1 in FIG. 1 in FIG. 3 is a variant of the electrical circuit of the proposed device.
The device contains a fluorescent lamp having a flask 1, a cathode 2, an element 3 in the form of an electrically conductive rod held by insulators 4, with a terminal 5 on the lamp base. Element 3 is attached to the additional winding 6, placed on the core of the control gear. The circuit of element 3 includes a block 7 that registers the value of the emission current and acts on the opening contact 8 of the actuating unit.
The proposed device works as follows.
When a voltage is applied to the cathode circuit 2, the glow current passes through the closed contact 8. As the cathodes 2 are heated in the circuit of the element 3, the external contact 5 of which is connected to the recording unit 7, a continuously increasing electron emission current flows. When the emission current reaches a value sufficient for reliable ignition of the lamp, block 7 sends a signal to open contact 8, which leads to the ignition of the lamp. The unit 7, which registers the value of the emission current, can serve as a relay, the winding of which is powered by an additional winding 6 placed on the core of the control gear. Insulators A prevent the possibility of galvanic communication.

катода 2 с элементом 3 внутри колбы 1 лампы.cathode 2 with element 3 inside the bulb 1 of the lamp.
The efficiency of the proposed device is tested on a model that simulates an emission current source made of tungsten wire and placed in a flask of a fluorescent lamp. When the potential difference between the cathode and the additional electrode is 2 V, the emission current reaches 2 mA.
The device provides optimal ignition conditions for the lamp, eliminates re-ignition attempts, excessive heating of the cathodes and, accordingly, increases the reliability of the entire lighting device.
The lighting device is rational to use under operating conditions that are unfavorable for igniting a fluorescent lamp.
