Description

Numerous methods that have been proposed for speeding up the weighing process and increasing the sensitivity of the balance result in additional error and, in most cases, desensitize the sensitivity of the balance as a mechanical system.

The proposed method makes it possible to increase the accuracy and reduce the weighing time due to the elimination of oscillations of the balance beam. This is achieved by the fact that the exact weight intention is produced in two positions; Kormysl, symmetrical about its zero position, in which the rocker is set to a state of indifferent equilibrium, and the true value of the weight is determined as the arithmetic average of these two measurements.

A device diagram explaining the proposed weighing method is given in the drawing.

A beam of light from illuminator 1 through condenser 2 hits sh. 3, Image w; spruce, passage through lens 4 and reflected from mirror 5, mounted on the balance beam 6, projected onto prism 7. At the center of prism 7 along the projected image of the slit there is a darkened band 8 that does not transmit light. On the sides of the prism are two photocells 9, included in the shoulders of the bridge, imbalance from the bridge circuit is fed to the amplifier 10. To the output of the amplifier, a solenoid 12 is connected through a milliammeter 11, inside which is a steel or magnetic rod 13 suspended from the weighing pan. At the time the rocker leaves the zero point (mechanical zero), the darkening band 8 blocks the path of the beam and the light does not fall on the photocells, i.e. the tracking system at this time will not have any effect on the balance beam. Since the scales are set to a state of indifferent equilibrium, the slightest change in weight on one plate of the scales would lead to a complete lifting of the rocker. However, when the deflection of the rocker will exceed
