Description
The invention relates to radio engineering and can be used in amplitude modulated radio transmitters.
The purpose of the invention is to increase the efficiency and reduce nonlinear distortion when working on the mismatched load.
The drawing shows the electrical circuit of the proposed amplifier.
13.The power amplifier contains an input adjustable amplifier 1, a main adjustable amplifier 2, an output power sensor 3, a differential amplifier 4, an adjustable DC converter 5, an input signal envelope detector 6, an output signal envelope detector 7, a voltage divider 8, an amplifier power supply 9 power, meter 10 ratio, memory block 1, adder 12 and threshold block 13.
The power amplifier works as follows.
The high-frequency input signal is amplified by an input regulated 1 and a main adjustable 2 amplifiers and is fed through a sensor 3 of the output power to the output of the device.
The voltage from the low-frequency output of the output power sensor 3, containing information about the power absorbed in the load, is compared with the differential amplifier 4c with the voltage coming from the output of the detector 6 of the input signal. The voltage from the output of the differential n (h) of the amplifier. 1 4 is fed to the first control input of the input controlled amplifier 1 and changes its gain in such a way that the gain of the entire device in terms of the power delivered to the load remains constant. , regardless of the load resistance.
When a high-frequency signal arrives at the device input, the threshold unit 13 is activated by the voltage from the output of the detector 6 of the input signal. From the output of the threshold unit 13 to the control input of the memory unit 11, a signal of the logical unit is received, under which the memory unit 11 supplies the current value of the signal from the output of the meter 10 ratios to the input of the adder 12.
10In the case of reducing the amplitude of the input signal to a level insufficient for functioning of the ratio meter 10, a logical zero signal is generated at the output of the threshold unit 13 which, acting on the control input of the memory unit 11, prohibits reading of the current value of the signal. At the same time, the memory unit 11 provides the input to the input of the adder 12 of the previous voltage value from the meter 10 ratios from the output. Under the action of voltages from the outputs of the detectors 6 and 7 of the envelope of the input and output signals and the signal from the output of the meter 10
отношений на выходе сумматора 12 формируетс напр жениеrelations at the output of the adder 12 voltage is formed

1. - a constant voltage corresponding to the voltage at the output of the adjustable transducer 5, at which Q provides a critical operating mode of the amplifier at the peak of the envelope with a matching load. This voltage is fed to the control input of the adjustable DC converter 5, amplified by it, and supplied as power to the main adjustable amplifier 2, as well as through the voltage divider 8 to the second control input of the adjustable input amplifier 1.
The voltage from the output of the voltage divider 8 changes the transmission coefficient of the input adjustable amplifier 1 in such a way that the change in the gain of the main adjustable amplifier 2 due to the automatic adjustment of its supply voltage is compensated. Adjusting the power of the main regulated amplifier 2 by a voltage that depends on the amplitude of the amplified signal and the load resistance in accordance with the formula provides an increase in efficiency and a reduction in nonlinear distortions both when it is misaligned with the load and when the amplitude of the amplified signal changes.
