Преобразователь состоит из трех грунн вентилей, подключенных к источнику однофазного напр жени  через трансформатор ТР-1. В каждую из этих групп входит по две последовательно соединенные пары антипараллельно включенных вентилей (с / по 12). Трехфазный потребитель подключен через трансформатор ТР-2 и сглаживающие дроссели к средним точкам групп вентилейПреобразование сетевой частоты в нониженпую происходит путем надлежащего чередовани  зажигани  вентилей различных групп.The converter consists of three ground valves connected to a single-phase voltage source through a transformer TR-1.
