The invention relates to radio engineering and can be used to measure the incident and reflected waves in the power transmission paths of high frequency signals. The aim of the invention is to increase efficiency. FIG. 1 shows a circuit diagram of a square-shaped directional coupler in FIG. 2, the same with the use of mutually complementary reactive two poles, dual to those shown in FIG. 1. The quadrature directional coupler (Fig. 1) contains a generator load 2, a hybrid transformer 3 with four poles 3., with poles 3.1 and 3.2, as well as 3.3 and 3 4, electrically separated between each, the first 4 and the second 5 reactive circuits, consisting of the first and second mutually complementary reactive two poles, respectively 6 and 7, 8 and 9, the first to fourth resistors 1 13, outputs, 14 and 15, respectively, the incident and reflected waves. The quadrature directed response of the gel (Fig. 1) works as follows. The oscillations from generator 1 are plugged into pole 3.1 of hybrid transformer 3. In this case, the main part of the power of generator 1 is transferred to load 2 connected to pole 3.3 of hybrid transformer 3. On the other hand, part of the generator power is located at pole 3.4. At pole 3.25, since it is electrically developed with pole 3., 1, the power from generator 1 is absent. The wave reflected from load 2 is divided between the first 3.1 and second 3/2 poles (while at 3.2 pole its fraction is equal to the fraction of the incident wave at the field. Thus, at poles 3.4 and 3.2, loaded on a matched load, respectively, equal fractions of oscillations of the wave incident from generator 1 and reflected from load 2, the oscillation phase of these waves with an accuracy of 180 coincides with the phases of oscillations of generator 1 and oscillations reflected from load 2. In order for the first 4 and second 5 reactive circuits named after the fourth 3.4 and secondly 3.2 Voltages constant (independent of frequency) input resistance, the condition r R2 should be fulfilled, where L and С are the values of inductances and capacitances in the first and second mutually complementary reactive two-terminal circuits 6 and 7, respectively, and also 8 and 9, R is the value of resistors 10 to 13. In this case, at the outputs 14 and 15 of the incident and reflected waves, the amplitudes of the voltages relative to the common bus have a frequency-dependent nature, but the phase shift between them is 90 and does not depend on the frequency. If it is required to provide the same amplitude values of the signals at the outputs 14 and 15 of the incident and reflected waves, then it is necessary to ensure the fulfillment of the relation: OdRC 1, where is the average frequency range. The frequency dependence of the signals from the outputs 14 and 15 of the incident and reflected waves is easy to take into account or adjust in advance. The proposed quadrature directional coupler ensures a constant phase shift of the output voltages on the entire frequency axis. Since circuits 4 and 5 in FIG. 2 are dual circuits 4 and 5 of FIG. 1, the device of FIG. 2 works similarly to that of FIG. 1. Formula for gaining A quadrature directional coupler containing two reactive circuits and a hybrid transformer, the first and second, and the third and fourth poles of which are electrically disconnected, with the input of the first reactive circuit connected to the fourth pole of the hybrid transformer 5 whose first pole is the input quadrature directional coupler, characterized in that, with the aim of improving efficiency, the input of the second reactive circuit is connected to the second pole of the hybrid transformer, each reagent and the circuit is in the form of two mutually complementing the reactive two-terminal first bends .kotoryh are combined and input reactive circuit, and each of the second taps through the respective resistor is connected to the common bus, point
