Description
The invention relates to mechanical engineering and can be used for tying information tags and reusable locking elements.
The purpose of the invention is to increase the reliability ’and durability of the connections.
Figure 1-6 shows the sequence of methods for implementing the method; in FIG. 7 and 8 are distinctive sketches of an embodiment of the method.
З), выводят обратно, а конец 5 того же каната (фиг.4) продевают в петлю 4 и вводят в трубку с противоположной стороны (фиг.5).The method of connecting and attaching the ends of a small-diameter metal rope with a metal tube (its variants) consists in pre-flattening the tube 1 with a mandrel on a press (Fig. 1) to create a shape that allows three diameters of the rope 2 to be placed in a row. The end 3 of the rope 2 is introduced into tube 1 (FIG. 2) and, forming a loop 4 (FIG. 3), lead back, and the end 5 of the same rope (FIG. 4) is threaded into loop 4 and inserted into the tube from the opposite side (FIG. 5).
8.In a variant of the method, the tube 1 is preliminarily flattened to create a shape that allows three rope diameters to be placed in a row. The end 6 of the rope 7 is captured by a loop. 8 support 9 and bring it back through the tube 1, and the free end 6 is introduced into the tube from the side of the loop 8.
The rope (2 or 7) is pulled along the arrow A, B or C, with a calibrated device until free loops are removed with a force of not more than 45% of the breaking one, and the tube 1 is flattened at the ends of the rope with the help of calibrated pliers to a thickness of 10-15% less than three wall thicknesses, ensuring reliable adhesion of the tube to the rope without its destruction. The ends 3, 5, 6 of ropes 2 or 7 (FIGS. 5 and 8) should not protrude from the tube. The tube material should be more viscous than the material of the wire rope. The tube wall thickness is equal to the lumen width of the pre-flattened tube (rope diameter) to ensure that the rope bends along a radius equal to the rope diameter and prevents destructive stretch marks and wire fractures, and the wall bend radius is equal to its thickness. The length of the tube is 10-20 thicknesses of its wall (10-20 widths of the clearance of the pre-flattened tube or 10-20 diameters of the rope) to ensure reliable retention of the ends of the rope and together with 5 the wall thickness of strength equal to or greater than the strength of the rope. The internal cross-sectional area of the pre-flattened tube must contain the rope diameter three times and the edges of the tube are rounded.
