Description

The invention relates to the field of construction on frozen soils, namely to the determination of the bearing capacity of bases. The purpose of the invention is to increase accuracy and reduce the complexity of the definitions. The drawing shows a plot of the freezing temperature t of extracting the salt solution from the natural bottom from its concentration K, which graphically reflects the equilibrium of ice and solution in the pores of the soil for a single salt genesis. The method is carried out as follows. From the monolith of the frozen soil, by thawing and free ejection of the pore solution, the salt solution is extracted and its concentration is determined, for example, with a salinometer, and then 4-5 samples of the lower concentration solution are prepared and for each the temperature is determined. freezing, by measuring at equal intervals of time, for example 5 minutes, the temperature of the solution as it cools to obtain 3-5 identical readings, which corresponds to the freezing temperature of the solution. Then, a graphical dependence is constructed: the freezing temperature t is the concentration of the solution K i by which the concentration of the pore solution K is determined at any given soil temperature, and the amount of unfrozen water is found by the formula 211 - K) K where W is the amount of unfrozen water %; soil salinity,%; concentration of pore solution, the proportion of units
