Прибор содержит канал 1, заполненный текучей средой 2, средство дл  индикации движени  текучей среды, выполненное в виде крыльчатки 3, установленной в канале, и генератор бегущих волн, выполненный в виде расположенного на наружной поверхности по крайней мере одной из стенок канала ползуна 4 с магнитом 5.
