Abstract
An electrochemical analyzer is designed to measure the oxygen potential and the oxygen concentration in gases, fuel combustion products. Improving the measurement accuracy is achieved by supplying the electrochemical cell with a preheater to the medium to be analyzed. The heat source for the preheater is an electrical heating element of the cell, which is connected to the power supply through a turn switch to adjust the heating level. 1 il. N9 SL CO
Description
д.The invention relates to analytical instrumentation, namely, devices for measuring oxygen concentration and oxygen potential in the combustion products of fuel-burning units during heat treatment in a protective atmosphere of various steels and alloys, etc.
The purpose of the invention is to improve measurement accuracy.
The drawing shows schematically the proposed analyzer.
The analyzer contains a solid-electrolyte cell 1 with an internal 2 and external 3 electrodes, between which millivoltmeter 4 is connected. An electric heating element 6 is connected to the power supply 5, the turns of which are located around the cell. A two-section gas heater 7 is installed around the electric heating element with a switching valve 8 between the inlets in sections 9 and 10. Section 9 of the heater is installed on the line of the analyzed gas, section 10 is on the line of the reference gas. The electric heating element is connected to the power source through the switch 11 turns.

Calibration is performed before the electrochemical analyzer is put into operation. In this case, using valve 8, which is converted to the open state, reference gas (with a known oxygen content, usually air) is fed to the inputs of section 9 and 10 of the preheater 7, heated by the heat generated by the electric heating element. Pass the tubular heater and

Having significantly increased its initial temperature, the reference gas is supplied to the electrodes of a solid electrolyte cell. If there is a parasitic thermo5 EMF, a millivolt meter connected between the electrodes of the solid electrolyte cell shows the value of parasitic thermoelectric power. To eliminate it, the switch of the turns of the electric heating element selects such a mode of switching on the electric heating element, in which the reading of the millivoltmeter is zero. Then the measurement mode of the electrochemical analyzer is set. In this case, the fan 8 is transferred to the closed state, at the same time an 1 gas is fed to the inlet of section 9, and a gas from the reference gas is fed to the inlet of the heater section 10.
