The invention relates to the preparation of urea-formaldehyde resins used as adhesives and bonding agents in the woodworking and adjacent industrial sectors.
The purpose of the invention is to obtain fast-curing, low-toxic resins, i.e. improving their performance.
Example 1. In a three-necked flask equipped with a mechanical stirrer, a reflux condenser and a thermometer, alkaline lignin and an aqueous solution of formaldehyde (36.5%) are charged, the pH of which is adjusted to 9.0 at a ratio of (m.ch,) 1: 9, 2 respectively. The condensation of alkaline lignin and formaldehyde is carried out at 90.5 + 0 C 8 for 40 minutes. Then, 10.8 mAb of carbamide was introduced into the reaction mixture, the pH was adjusted to 7.5 and condensation was carried out at the same time for 20 minutes. By introducing a 20% solution of ammonium chloride into the reaction mixture, the pH was adjusted to 5.0 and condensation was carried out at 90 + 5 ° G for 60 minutes.
65-70%.The subsequent introduction of caustic soda creates a pH of 6.8-7.0, and evacuates the resulting condensation product at 65-70 s and a discharge in the system of 600 mm Hg. Art. to a concentration of 65-70%.
The resulting resin has the following characteristics: the content of free formaldehyde is 0.62; gelation time at 30 s; storage stability 4-5 months.
