The invention relates to electrical engineering, primarily cable technology, and can be used to connect welding cables used at elevated hydrostatic pressures.
The purpose of the invention is to simplify construction while maintaining operational mobility.
2,- то же, под воздействием давлени .FIG. 1 shows a sealed coupler without being subjected to hydraulic pressure, the bit in FIG. 2 - the same, under the influence of pressure.
The hermetic coupling sleeve contains a metal case - 1 with a cylindrical central hole, where rubber seals 2 are installed, which are affected by pressure elements 3,
ненные в виде металлического поршн .nennye in the form of a metal piston.
9.Nuts 4 are installed on both sides of the housing. The housing 1 also houses hermetically mated sleeves 5 and 6 of insulating material, which encloses the terminal connection, which is formed by a metal sleeve 7 and tips 8 and 9 with annular outer projections. On the part of the inner surface of the sleeve 7 is made of thread and the inner annular flange located on the side of one of the end faces of the sleeve. The collar interacts with the protrusion of the smooth tip 8, and the threaded portion of the sleeve 7 is connected on the thread with the tip 9.
The tips 8 and 9, which are in contact with the end surfaces, are made of copper alloys and are soldered onto the ends of the cables 10 and 11. Each insulating sleeve 5 and 6 is made with a stepped inner surface having two sections of different diameter, one of which is smaller in diameter, on part of the length directly installed on the cable, and the other - on the metal sleeve with the formation of a guaranteed gap.
13.The ends of the insulating sleeves are stepped and form a labyrinth seal 12. To protect the cables from bending, rubber covers 13 are used.
When assembled, a guaranteed gap should be formed between the end of the metal sleeve 7 and the insulation sleeve 5, as well as between the turn and other jerks.

The seals and pressure elements are mounted for movement on the cables.
The hermetic coupling works as follows.
6.The ends 8 and 9 are soldered onto the ends of the cables 10 and 11, and before this, nuts 4, covers 13, pressure elements 3, seals 2, bushings 5 and 6 are strung onto the cables.
8: The soldering strength of the terminals 8 and 9 to the cables is not less than the tensile strength of the cables. This is necessary because the cable, when working under water, experiences stretching.
Дл большей надежности лабиринтное уплотнение заполн етс электроизол ционной- смазкой или герметиком путем нанесени их на торцовые поверхности втулок 5 и 6 перед окончательной сборкой муфты.and 9 are fastened with the sleeve 7, ensuring reliable mechanical and electrical connection of the cables. After that, the entire coupling is assembled. 5 When assembled, the terminal connection is enclosed by insulating sleeves 5 and 6, which firmly hold the terminal connection from being pulled out of the housing and isolate it from the Q metal parts of the coupling. Labyrinth seal 12 eliminates the direct breakdown of current to the housing and increases the surface resistance. For greater reliability, the labyrinth seal is filled with an electrically insulating lubricant or a sealant by applying them to the end surfaces of the sleeves 5 and 6 before final assembly of the coupling.

е. к снижению надежного электрического соединени кабелей, что в свою очередь ведет к нагреву и подгоранию контактов .After assembling the device (figure 1) contact between the tips 8 and. 9 depends on the force generated by the threaded joint of the tip 9 and the sleeve 7. It should also be borne in mind that all surfaces of the mating parts are not perfect, have roughness, unevenness, irrelevance of surfaces, vibration conditions, variable temperatures and hydraulic pressures, constantly operating in working conditions, the surface roughness is crushed, which leads to a weakening of the threaded connection, i.e. to reduce the reliable electrical connection of cables, which in turn leads to heating and burning of the contacts.
FIG. Figure 2 shows the position of the parts of the device under hydrostatic pressure. Even with the loosening of the threaded sockets of the tips 8 and 9, they continue to tightly grip the sleeves 5 and 6, which are subject to hydraulic pressure through the seal 2 and the pressing elements 3. Constant reliability
The device, under operating conditions at an equal pressure, is provided by automatic transfer of hydraulic force directly to the contacting tips 8 and 9 by moving parts 2,3,5 and 6 in the range of the listed guaranteed gaps.
