Description

In the known spectrographs with photoelectric registration of the optical spectrum, photocells or photographic light detectors are used, which makes the spectrographs complex, expensive, and does not eliminate errors depending on the fluctuations of the spectral lines, and, for example, when they are excited by a spark.

In the proposed spectrograph, a precharged photoconductive layer, applied to the electrode and located in the focal plane, is used as a converter of light energy into electrical energy. Such a design of the spectrograph is simpler, shorter and has an integrating ability, which eliminates the influence of these fluctuations, increases the accuracy of recording and increases the reliability of the instrument.

FIG. 1 shows the basic layout of the proposed spectrograph; in fig. 2-circuit diagram of a device for converting a spectrum image into a signal for recording.

The focal plane of the spectrograph has a photoconductive layer 1 deposited on an electrically conductive substrate 2. Before exposing the spectrum, layer 1 is charged, for example, using an electric corona. Upon exposure (excitation) of the spectrum, the layer / is discharged in proportion to the amount of light incident on it. The integrating ability of photollo 1 and low speed of discharge in low light conditions make it possible to fix the average value of the intensity of each line of the spectrum during the exposure time, which is very important when using such sources of the spectrum as an electric arc or a spark. The sensitivity of the photoconductive layer is close to the sensitivity of the film.

To convert the latent electrostatic image of the spectrum into a signal for recording electrical recording, a conductive substrate 2 is used
