The invention relates to methods for testing the strength of structures using the phenomenon of acoustic emission (AE). The aim of the invention is to enhance the functionality and performance. The drawing shows the device, the overall appearance. The device consists of a housing 1, a tank 2 with a hole 3, and the tank 2 is filled with balls 4 of different masses, a conical waveguide 5 acoustic signals. fishing valve 6, damper 7 and channel 8. The drawing also shows the test structure 9 and piezo sensor 10. On the vessel 2 there is an annular ditch 11 in which the circular flat spring 12 is placed, which holds the container 2 in a predetermined position relative to the housing 1 The valve 7 is rigidly fixed to the rod 13 and slides along the end face 14 of the container 2 by rotating the rod 13, thereby opening and closing the opening 3. The rod 13 with the valve 7 moves with the container 2 when installed in the required position and fixed to the container 2the protrusion 15 and the sleeve 16 with a locking screw 17. The position 18 denotes a cavity in the housing 1 located above the container 2. The device operates as follows. A specimen (not shown) is preliminarily tested for pure stretch, made of the material of the tested structure 9. Bring it with a load to the appearance of plastic deformations and cracks in it, and then with the help of a piezoelectric sensor 10, attached0. The second module and the recording equipment determine the frequency, amplitude and energy of the acoustic signal during plastic deformations and cracks, as well as the volume trapped by plastic deformations. On the sample made of the material of the used construction 9 with the piezo-sensor 10 attached to it, connected to the apparatus, install the device and, variable; The position of the container 2 in height (by overcoming the friction forces created by the annular flat spring 12 and the housing 1), as well as by changing the mass of the balls 4 (their diameter and density changes), is achieved, -. so that the frequency, amplitude, and energy of the acoustic signal would be the same as for the plastic deformations of the specimen in tension and cracks in it, which serve as a reference for further research. Then the housing 1 is installed on the test structure) 9, to which is attached a piezo-acoustic sensor 10 connected to recording equipment. The valve 7 is opened and the balls 4 of different diameters and densities are fed through the opening 3 in the tank 2 to the conical waveguide, 5 acoustic signals and are rolled from it onto the sound-absorbing pad / 6. At the same time, the character of the received sigils is recorded on the recording equipment. After the calibration is completed, the balls 4 by turning the entire device by 180 in a vertical plane and shaking through channel 8 are poured into the cavity 18. When the device returns to its original position, the balls fall into the container 2, while the hole 3 must be closed with a valve.
