частиц с различгными размерами, которые определ ют также по тарировочным зависимост м.to 1 Inventory relates to the field of determining the physicomecanic properties of soils and can be used to determine the grain size distribution of the soil, for example, in the field of engineering geology. The aim of the invention is to increase productivity and reliability by determining the particle size distribution of undisturbed soils under the conditions of their natural occurrence. When an ultrasonic transducer is introduced into the undisturbed soil at the place of introduction, the soil is destroyed and acoustic emission signals appear in the range of low, medium and high ultrasonic frequencies. The frequency of the acoustic emission signals at the limiting voltages of the soil is determined by its graininess, which allows the frequency of the mechanism of the spectrum of the received acoustic emission signals, using the calibration data carried out on samples of known graininess, to determine the grain size distribution of the soil under study. The grain size of the soil is its characteristic value at any stage of loading, which makes it possible to use for analysis the granulometry of the soil's 52 composition of soil by the immersion of an ultrasonic sensor. The method is carried out as follows. The ultrasonic receiving transducer is pressed at a constant speed (for example, using a penetrometer) into the array of the soil under study. At the same time, as a result, the destruction of the soil results in acoustic emission signals, which are recorded by an ultrasonic transducer and fed to a spectrum analyzer, where, simultaneously with the introduction of the ultrasonic transducer, a continuous Fourier analysis of the received signals is performed. The spectrum of the received acoustic emission signals is recorded with a spectrum recorder. Then, using the pre-calibration data, the particle sizes of the dominant fraction of the soil being studied are determined from the frequency of the maximum in the Fourier Deposition spectrum. The presence of several distinct peaks in the spectrum of the received signals means the presence in the soil studied. several fractions of particles with different sizes, which are also determined by calibration dependencies.
