The drawing schematically shows the proposed device.
16.The device for protecting the converter 1 consists of a control system made on a phase-shifting unit 2 connected to the input of a pulse-width modulator (PWM) 3, including push-pull master 4 and slave 5 generators, made by a push-pull circuit on transistors 6–9, with output transformers 10 and 11, the beginnings of the primary windings 12 and 13 of which are connected to the inputs of the OR-NOT 14 element, the output of which through the diode 15 is connected to the input of the threshold element 16, shunted by a parallel RC circuit 17, the output of which is connected to the input of the ele of the throne key 18. The OR-NOT 14 element is made in the form of two parallel-connected transistors 19 and 20, the bases of which form the inputs of the element 14, the emitters are connected to the common PWM bus 3, and the collectors form the output of the element 14 and through the resistor 21 are connected to the plus bus of the source power supply 22 PWM. The electronic key 18 is made on the transistor 23 connected between the common PWM bus 3 and the negative bus of the power supply 22, the base of which is connected through the resistor 24 to the positive bus of the power supply 22 and through the inverting transistor 25 to the output of the threshold element 16.
The device operates as follows.
8 (9).The PWM master oscillator 4 generates a leading sequence of rectangular pulses, and the slave 5 generates a driven sequence of rectangular pulses shifted in time relative to the leading sequence by the angle of the phase shift using the phase shifting unit 2. Converter 1 controlled from the output transformers 10 and. 11, carries out the DC voltage conversion while stabilizing it by adjusting the phase shift in proportion to the feedback signal, and the output voltage increases with decreasing phase shift (with increasing width of the control pulses at the input of the converter 1). The width of the control pulses is determined by the time at which the transistor 6 (7) of the master oscillator 4 and the transistor 8 (9) of the slave generator 5 are in saturation, and the phase shift is determined by the time from the moment the transistor 6 (7) is turned on until the transistor 8 (9) turns on.
During normal operation of the converter 1, the supply voltage is supplied to the PWM 3 through an electronic switch 18, in which the transistor 23 is turned on due to the base bias current flowing through the resistor 24. At the same time, the transformer 25 and the threshold element 16 are turned off, since the voltage on the parallel RC chain 17 below the threshold. The capacitor of the PC circuit 17 is charged through the resistor 21 and the diode 15, if both transistors 19 and 20 of the OR-NOT element 14 are turned off. When at least one of the 5 transistors 19 and 20 is turned on, the diode 15 turns off, the capacitor of the RC circuit 17 stops, so how the current of the resistor 21 flows through the turned on transistor 19 and 20. Due to the fact that the switching processes of the transistors 19 and 20 are synchronized by transistors 6 and 8, moreover, when the transistor 6 (8) is turned on, the transistor 19 (20) turns off, when the transistor 6 turns off (8) turns on the transistor 19 (20), then the average voltage the capacitor RC 25 of circuit 17, which is discharged only through a resistor of the same circuit, is proportional to the width of the control pulses coming from the PWM 3 to the converter 1. When the supply voltage changes, the phase shifting device 2 adjusts the width of the control pulses so that the output voltage of the converter 1 remains constant, and with it maintains its constancy and voltage on the RC circuit 17. At the same time, the voltage on 35 of the RC circuit 17 changes in proportion to the load current of the converter 1, for which the output voltage Due to the presence of internal resistance, voltage depends on the load current. Moreover, with increasing load current, the output voltage decreases, so 40 phase-shifting device 2 increases the width of the control pulses, maintaining a constant value of the output voltage. At the same time, the voltage on the RC circuit 17 increases. When current overloads occur, the voltage on the RC circuit 17 45 will reach the maximum permissible value, the threshold element 16 will turn on (the zener diode breaks), the transistor 25 of the electronic switch 18 will open, and the control transition of the transistor 23 will be removed, which removes the 50 voltage supply from the PWM 3 and disconnects the converter 1. Turning off the transistor 25 and the threshold element 16 does not occur, since the transistors 19 and 20 are turned off, and the capacitor of the RC circuit 17 is charged to the value of the supply voltage55.
