Description
4.The invention relates to mechanical engineering and can be used to determine the coefficient of friction when processing solid materials by pressure, for example, when settling between dies. The aim of the invention is to improve the accuracy of the evaluation of the coefficient of friction. The drawing shows an example of the sample. The sample for determining the coefficient of friction in shape is a wedge-shaped plate of the material under study with flat edges (Fig. 1), having two planes of symmetry. The working faces 1 of the sample are angled, the magnitude of which is obviously less than the friction angle (in this case, each working face has a slope of 1.5 to the main plane 2 of the wedge symmetry), and perpendicular to the lateral face m 3 In the sample, the through hole 4 is the intersecting working faces 1 are perpendicular to the main plane 2 of the symmetry of the sample, i.e. intersect faces 1 p in a direction parallel to the direction of precipitation, and parallel risks are applied on the surface of the slot 5. The slot does not intersect the alternate 6 and the rear faces of the sample, and its width should not exceed 0.01 (ie, the length of the sample). 682 The test of the sample in determining the coefficient of friction is carried out as follows. The sample is clamped between the wedge-shaped strikers so that their surfaces are in contact with the working faces 1. The load is applied to the strikers and the plastic flow of the specimen between the strikers in the process of free draft is applied. In the process of deformation, risks 5 are distorted, which is judged after mechanical testing and the sample connector along the slot into two parts. The curvature of scratches 5 occurs only in a plane perpendicular to the main plane 2 of symmetry, which allows a highly accurate estimate of the neutral cross section of the sample with his draft. The coefficient of friction is calculated using the well-known formula: f Kr-zxibj where (- the taper angle of the striker J ij - the final width of the specimen after testing JC- - the distance from the front face 6 of the specimen to the neutral section, which corresponds to a non-curved risk 5 on the surface of the slot 4 .
