The invention relates to metallurgy, in particular to martensite-aging steels used in the manufacture of pressure molds for casting non-ferrous metals. The aim of the invention is to improve the machinability of steel while maintaining heat resistance. The limits of the content of alloying elements are determined by the nature of their influence on the structure and properties of steel. Nickel is introduced into steel to obtain a structure of carbon-free martensite having high strength and ductility. A decrease in the nickel content of less than 8 wt.% Does not lead to the formation of a fully martensitic structure. At a nickel concentration of more than 12 wt.%, The strength of the matrix decreases as the stabilized austenite forms in the structure of this steel. Manganese contributes to an increase in ductility in the hot state and a decrease in viscosity in an unstrengthened state, which increases machinability. An increase in the manganese content of more than 6% by weight leads to embrittlement due to the release of dispersed particles along the grain boundaries. Pr content of less than 3 wt.% Does not have a significant effect. Titanium is introduced into steel as a primary reinforcer. A decrease in the titanium content of less than 1.0 wt.%, In the absence of other hardeners, weakly harden steel. An increase in the titanium content of more than 2.0 wt.% Leads to a decrease in plasticity due to the predominant release of the intermetallic phase along the grain boundaries. Silicon contributes to the deoxidation of steel, its introduction in the amount of more than 0.5 wt.% Reduces the ductility after hardening. A reduction in the content of less than 0.05 wt.% Does not completely deoxidize the steel. Aluminum contributes to the refining of steel, the introduction of it in the amount of more than 0.3 wt.% Leads to the formation of an excessive intermetallic phase, isomorphic to the matrix, which reduces the ductility of steel. A reduction in the content of less than 0.05% by weight does not sufficiently fully refin the metal. Cerium is introduced into the steel as a refining additive, -1 grinding, grain, increases the casting properties of the metal and the heat resistance of the steel during operation. The introduction of cerium in an amount of more than 0.05 wt.% Leads to a decrease in ductility due to the amount of less than 0.005 wt.% - does not have a refining effect on the steel. The carbon content of 0.005 wt.% Is determined by its presence in the technically pure charge materials used in smelting. An increase in the carbon content of more than 0.06 wt.% Leads to a decrease in plasticity after aging. Calcium contributes to the deoxidation of steel and the improvement of workability in the non-hardened state. Introducing it in an amount of more than 0.08 wt.% Embrittles the steel in a hardened state (after aging). A decrease in the content of less than 0.005 wt.% Does not deoxidize the steel sufficiently and does not sufficiently improve the workability. Magnesium is introduced into the steel to improve machinability due to a decrease in viscosity in the non-hardened state and to improve hot deformability. Its introduction in the amount of more than 0.05 wt.% Reduces the mechanical properties. A reduction in the content of less than 0.005 May, does not sufficiently improve machinability and hot deformability. To obtain the optimum combination of strength and ductility, the ratio of nickel and manganese should be as follows:% Ni + 2% Mn 15-20%. The compositions of the steels are given in table. 1. In table. 2 shows the mechanical properties of the investigated steels at room temperature (numerator) and temperature 700s (denominator), which corresponds to the heating of the working surface of the mold when pouring liquid brass. In tab. 3 shows the results of tests for heat resistance (T is the number of cycles to failure, corresponds to the number of usable parts obtained from the mold) and mechanical machinability. Industrial tests have shown that at similar values of mechanical properties (at 700 ° C) and heat resistance, the machinability of the proposed
