Description
Instruments for measuring arterial blood pressure are known, which consist of an electrical sensor, a cuff, a manual hand pump, a manometer and a recording device. These instruments, as much as they liked, are unsuitable for use in conditions of high atmospheric rarefaction.
Описываемый прибор устран ет этот недостаток и дает возможность измер ть артериальное давление не только в наземных услови х, но и в услови х больщих разрежений атмосферы (в барокамере).The described device eliminates this drawback and makes it possible to measure blood pressure not only in terrestrial conditions, but also in conditions of high atmospheric rarefaction (in the pressure chamber).
The essence of the invention is that the device uses a sensor in the form of a rubber tube filled with coal; microphone powder and metal olives closed at the ends with current conductors attached to them, by means of which the sensor is connected to an electrical bridge circuit.
The sensor is enclosed in a leather fabric cover and is located under a cuff provided with reinforcing metal rods with a fastener and a comb, as a result of which the distortions introduced into measurements by the action of atmospheric rarefaction are eliminated.
3 - схема включени и управлени прибором в услови х барокамеры .FIG. 1 shows an instrument sensor; in fig. 2 - cuff device; in fig. 3 is a circuit for switching on and controlling the device under pressure chamber conditions.
The device for measuring arterial blood pressure contains a sensor /, cuff 2, pneumatic hand pump 3, membrane pressure gauge 4 for visual pressure measurement, and a recording device 5, such as a self-feeding oscilloscope.
The sensor / is made in the form of a rubber tube 6, tightly filled with carbon microphone powder. The tube 6 is closed on both sides with copper olives; to the olive: soldered two drives 7, with which

5.A sensor with an electrical bridge of resistances i, Rz, Rz and batteries 5i and B.) is included in the electrical bridge circuit 5.
The rubber tube 6 is enclosed in a skin-leather case, ending at the ends with buttons, to which is attached a rubber tension strap 9 for fastening the sensor / on the arm.
12.The sensor / is closed by a cuff 2 provided with reinforcing metal rods 10, as well as a metal fastener 11 with a flexible comb 12.
Before applying the cuff to the arm, the elbow is put on the oscillation sensor. The tension of the sensor is adjusted to the arm by a tension strap. Removing the air from the cuff, put it on the sensor / so that it is located under the lower half of the cuff, and the cuff itself was 3-5 cm above the elbow.
2.A sensor 1 with an electrical bridge of resistances through the electrical inputs 13 in the pressure chamber is connected to the electroencephallograph of the recording device 5. The sensor is superimposed on the manset 2. The diaphragm pressure gauge 4 is fixed in the pressure chamber 14 in the viewing window 15 so that the cuff pressure can be clearly monitored 2
The cuff pressure is applied by opening the valve 16 due to the difference in atmospheric pressure. The air at the cuff is vented through a valve 17, which allows the air to be vented at a controlled rate.
