Description
5.CO 00 Cd The invention relates to radio engineering and can be used in the processing channels of radar, radio communication, telemetry information. The purpose of the invention is to exclude the modulation of the useful output signal with the frequency of the modulating signal generator. The drawing shows the structures on the electrical circuit of the automatic gain control device. The device comprises an amplifier 1 with adjustable gain, a filter 2 of a modulating signal, an amplitude detector 3, a filter 4. a third harmonic, an amplifier 5, a synchronous detector 6, an amplifier control section 7 and an oscillator 8 modulating signal. The device works as follows. The processed oscillation from the output of amplifier 1 is fed to amplifier 5 operating in a non-linear mode with a cutoff. The cut-off level is set by element 7 such that, at a normalized output oscillation level, the cut-off angle in the amplifier .5 provides a maximum of the third harmonic level D e at the output of the filter 4. This angle for the third harmonic is approximately 40. The oscillation of the cutoff level is 52 harmonic with the modulation frequency SI located outside the spectrum of the processed oscillation and the amplitude U providing the desired magnitude of the error signal (conversion factor). The oscillation on the third harmonic of the process being processed, modulated in amplifier 5 and filtered in filter 4, is detected by detector 3. Using filter 2 tuned to the frequency of the modulating voltage S7, b is the voltage at this frequency and is applied for synchronization. detector 6, to the input of which a modulating voltage is supplied from the output of the generator 8 as a reference voltage. If the input signal has a normalized amplitude, there is no error signal voltage at the output of the synchronous detector 6. the amplitude of the input signal changes up or down from the normalization level at the output of the synchronous detector 6 produces an error signal (regulating voltage) that is applied to adjust the gain of amplifier 1. To change the normalization level, it is enough to change the average value of the cutoff level at the output of element 7 i.e., to change the extreme value of the cut-off angle in the amplifier 5 accordingly.
