One CO CO 111 The invention relates to mechanical equipment for conducting technological processes in the chemical, medical and other related industries, which are accompanied by abundant foam formation that requires further destruction, and more specifically, to mechanical rotary type antifoam agents for continuous destruction of foam in apparatuses and is an improvement of the invention on auth. No. 1042772. The purpose of the invention 7 is the increase in the performance of a mechanical defoamer. The drawing shows a mechanical defoamer, a longitudinal section. The mechanical defoamer is installed in apparatus 1 and consists of a rotating hollow shaft 2 on which bushings 3-7 are mounted. Conical plates 8 are fixed between the sleeves, held by the pins 9 against rotation. The entire package of sleeves and plates 8 is lifted and fixed on the shaft 2 by means of a nut 10 screwed onto the threaded section 11 in the lower shaft 2 radially welded to the bottom surfaces of the plates 8. the ribs 12. In the shaft 2 there are two-axial cavities 13 and 14, the upper cavity 13 communicating with the exhaust gas nozzle 15, and the lower cavity 14 from the end communicating with the internal volume of the apparatus 1. In the bushings 4 and 5 and the shaft 2 there are respectively holes 16 and 17 binding doors and the inter-cavity spaces with the cavity 13 of the shaft 2 The space between the two lower plates I is connected by holes 18 and 19 with the cavity 14. The upper cavity 13 of the shaft 2 is connected through the holes 20 to the exhaust manifold 15. A disk 21 is attached to the ribs 12 of the lower conical plate 8 , the latter is located with an annular gap 22 relative to the shaft 2. The mechanical defoamer works as follows. 9 The foam formed during operation in apparatus 1 rises from the liquid mirror and reaches the rotating defoamer. When bubbling liquid in the apparatus, the gas successively passes through the liquid, foam, and exits apparatus 1 through the defoamer and exhaust pipe 15. When foam reaches the end of shaft 2, part of the foam enters the cavity 14 of shaft 2 open from the end, and some through annular gap 22 the space between the bottom plate 8 and the disk 21. Next, the foam flows through the holes 18 and 19 enter the lower inter-tray space, where they are accelerated by centrifugal forces and thrown towards the main flow, partially destroying it by hydrodynamic benefits. The remaining part of the foam, not destroyed after the passage of the lower interbranch space, is entrained by gas to the two upper interbridge spaces, where it is finally destroyed by centrifugal forces in the interbridge spaces and by mechanical impact by the radial ribs 12. The gas separated from the foam enters through the holes 16 and 17 into the cavity 13, and from it into the exhaust pipe 15 through the holes 20. The execution of mechanical foam. The suture of the proposed design eliminates the addition of expensive chemical defoamers to the culture liquid, which allows to increase its performance by increasing the foam-destroying capacity of the opposing foam streams that are thrown from the device due to their concentration in confined spaces around the defoamer. The concentration of oncoming flows is ensured by the fact that the flows coming due to the pumping effect into the space between the lower plate and the disk are ejected from the entire inter-plate space.
